Long Island Checker Cab is one of three taxi cab companies licensed to do business in the Village of Mineola. Checker Cab is available to transport passengers to destination points in Mineola and beyond, as well as pick-up anywhere in the village including the Mineola Train Station. Long Island Checker Cab is also available for transportation to and from the airport. The company is owned by Phil Fortuna and Jeri Quibell. Long Island Checker Cab has also made an effort to be a part of the community by participating in various village functions.
