Established in 1889, the Central Conference of American Rabbis is dedicated to enriching and strengthening the Jewish community by empowering rabbis to provide religious, spiritual and organizational leadership. It members consist of reform rabbis who are ordained at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, as well as liberal seminaries in Europe. The Central Conference of American Rabbis strives to achieve its mission through specializes services, such as placement, pension, mentoring and advocacy, as well as Torah study and professional development training. The organization also published liturgy and resource materials, including prayer books for homes and congregations. The Central Conference of American Rabbis is located in New York City.
