The Catholic Family Center is a human service agency that offers a range of housing and employment solutions. It serves children, families and senior citizens. The center is one of the largest providers of family services in Rochester in New York. The Catholic Family Center offers counseling solutions for matters related to substance abuse. It also provides therapeutic foster care, early intervention, parenting, youth and case management services. The center serves more than 64,000 individuals annually. The Catholic Family Center additionally administers unaccompanied refugee minors and employee assistance programs. In addition, it offers mental health care and psychiatric rehabilitation solutions. The Catholic Family Center operates Sanctuary House and the Francis Center.

Urban League of Rochester, NY, founded in 1965, offers a range of welfare services. It has several divisions, including education and employment, youth services, developmental disabilities and business development. The agency s assistance program assists aspiring minority and women business owners, as well as other small businesspersons in the start-up, development and expansion of independent, self-owned microenterprise ventures. Its family consultant and parent aid program provides family counseling, crisis intervention, communication and parenting skill development services to families at risk of losing their children to foster care. The agency s youth counseling and mentoring program provides support and advocacy to students and students who are at risk of being suspended. The organization is an affiliate of the National Urban League and is located in Rochester, N.Y.
