History
In Fall of 2005, Engineer Andrew Krivonos opened Southfall Studios in the Park Slope, Brooklyn as a private mix room for his recording projects. Word of mouth spread immediately and by 2007, the facility was not enough to meet the demands of clientele. In April 2008, Andrew and Studio Tech Joseph Russo partnered to transfer the studio to a new facility in an old microbrewery in Bushwick, changing its name to The Brewery. Meanwhile, Producer Dot Da Genius was developing his production company, Headbanga Muzik, with artist Kid Cudi out of his home studio in Brooklyn. The Brewery moved to its newest facility at 910 Grand Street in May 2009, joining forces with Dot and his production team. The success of its staff and the incredible growth of the organization is quickly making this company one of the highest profile studio environments in New York.
