The Bloomingdale Family Program provides a range of services for children and parents from low-income families. It offers various after-school and tutoring programs. The organization provides early childhood education, health and nutrition and yoga programs. The Bloomingdale Family Program also offers a variety of supportive services, including play, bilingual speech and occupational therapies. It additionally provides summer therapeutic, social services, parent education and leadership training programs. The organization maintains a crisis emergency fund for parents. Established in 1960, The Bloomingdale Family Program employs more than 50 people. It is funded by the Federal Head Start Program, New York City Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program and New York State Department of Health Child & Adult Care Food Program.
