History
BARO by Chefs Society is a Korean gastropub in the heart of Manhattan's Koreatown district at 34 W. 32nd St, slated to open in November 2017. Chefs Society, a New York City-based culinary organization made up of a network of inspired chefs and other talent, focuses on progressing culinary culture through the development of fermentation-especially that of Korean fermentation-in American gastronomy. Endorsed by Chef Daniel Boulud and led by Seolbin Park, culinary mentor and consultant, the organization aims to share new ideas, recipes, flavors, and experiences with the world, and BARO will be the perfect venue for this with the international New York City community as well as those passing through.
