Located in Mt. Kisco, N.Y., Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester is a voluntary, nonprofit corporation governed by a board of directors. Founded in 1937, it provides supervised recreation, physical instruction, and educational, cultural and social programs for youth in Northern Westchester County in New York. The club offers a wide variety of programs and activities, including drawing, painting, swimming, developmentally appropriate classroom activities and music. Its programs and activities also include arts and crafts, a variety of games, gym programs, reading, counseling, tutoring, mentoring and recognition programs. The club organizes various Friday night events, such as Halloween dance, casino nights, movies, vacation club and musical programs. It has an eight-lane swimming pool, preteen and teen centers, school-aged and preschool child care programs, administrative offices and parking areas. The club also operates satellite offices in Yorktown and Tarrytown in New York.
