Andrus Children Center, also known as Julia Dyckman Andrus Memorial, provides preventative care and restorative services to more than 2,000 children and families every year. Founded in 1928, the Andrus Children Center is accredited by the Council on Accreditation. The center is a member of the Alliance for Children and Families, Child Welfare League of America and American Association of Children's Residential Centers. It operates various mental health and campus- and community-based programs. The center also administers a day treatment program. In partnership with Westchester Family Friends, its community services division operates an intensive home visiting and family support program for at-risk families with newborn babies. The Andrus Children Center maintains a location in White Plains, N.Y.
