Amrin Khander, MD, is an obstetrician and gynecologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine. She specializes in maternal-fetal and high-risk pregnancy care for women with co-existing medical conditions and performs deliveries and procedures at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. Dr. Khander has a clinical focus on providing a full scope of OB/GYN care to women with chronic or complex health conditions, including hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease or other gastrointestinal diseases, blood disorders, rheumatic disease, cancer, and neurologic disorders. She closely monitors the condition of both mother and baby throughout pregnancy and has advance knowledge of high-risk and complicated pregnancies. Active in research, Dr. Khander has been published in various medical journals, including the Journal of Hepatology and the Journal of Maternal Fetal Neonatal Medicine and has presented her research at annual medical conferences. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. After graduating from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, Dr. Khander served her residence at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. She completed her fellowship in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
