Simchat HaLev creates a welcoming and nurturing environment for its congregation and guests. Some of the congregants identify themselves as Reform, Conservative, Renewal, Re-constructionist, Secular, some "just" Jewish and others "not technically" Jewish. The congregation embraces families with and without children regardless of their constellation and orientation. Women and men are also equal in all aspects of congregational life. Congregation Simchat HaLev is an intimate congregation that incorporates a house of prayer with extensive learning opportunities. Rabbi Jay and the team of Jewish professionals teach individuals Judaism that is accessible, engaging, spiritually based and God centered.
