The owners of Ambadi grew up in the restaurant business (their parents own Bengal Tiger in White Plains), and they continue the family tradition with Ambadi, an informal eat-in/take-out restaurant in the heart of the White Plains business district. All the food is prepared on the premises by three chefs, each one specializing in a different aspect of the meal. The menu includes dishes representative of India's many regional cuisines and includes soups, appetizers, tandoori and an assortment of selections featuring shrimp, lamb, chicken and goat. There are vegetarian dishes, lunch boxes and specials that change daily. Delivery is available in White Plains, Hartsdale and Scarsdale on orders over $25 for an additional charge of $1.
