History
Camp Olympia, All Sports for All People believes in teaching children sports in a positive, supportive environment. Our staff are taught and understand why children do what they do and then are able to teach children in a way that will help them succeed. We know a child's self esteem and confidence is increased as they improve their skills in different areas. This is our goal. We know when children see they are able to learn something well, they are more likely to try new things and work to achieve goals. We know this is accomplished when children feel safe physically and emotionally which is why we help to create a space where they know they can try new things and will be taught by the staff how to improve and children are taught to encourage each other. We believe all children can learn the skills of the sports as well as good sportsmanship. it is our job to figure out how to teach each child.
