Brooklyn University High School for Law (BKULAW), formerly Acorn High School For Social Justice, is a public school that serves grades nine to 12. The school's principal is Michael Prayor. BKULAW provides a rigorous college preparatory academic program.
Inside the school, students have a choice between three institutes for learning: Legal studies, science and technology and AVID-based curriculum (Advancement via Individual Determination). The school offers advance placement courses and an opportunity to obtain an associate's degree while enrolled in high school.
