Hermosa Middle School provides learning opportunities for students in grades six through eight. It offers a variety of academic courses, including language arts, math, physical education, family and consumer science, computers, science and social studies. The school provides English as a Second Language, bilingual, and special and gifted education programs. Its technology department sponsors a recycling fundraiser in which it collects old cell phones and empty ink cartridges that are later exchanged for technology equipment.
