op.cit. has been selling books online since 1994, but we opened our first store in Santa Fe in 2011.

Specialties

op.cit. is a general bookstore; we carry new and used books, first editions and things that we find interesting. We trade and buy books, and are happy to special order. We're open seven days a week at 8AM, and carry the New York Times.

Oof, this place is rough. The staff was nice, but it was near impossible to walk through. There are stacks & stacks of books listed "trade in progress." The "new out" table is slim & not very new...

Lots of books and I do mean lots of them. The problem is that there were literal piles and stacks of books blocking the book shelves. It made it impossible to get to certain sections of the store....

Great bookstore with lots of stacks to sort through. You can get a great deal on some newer pieces too! Staff is super nice and there's some free books outside too.
