Currier Abstract Company, NSL, Artesia, New Mexico, was founded by George Currier in 1939. He was joined by his son "Chili" in 1946. In 1969, Chili expanded the business by purchasing Guaranty Title Company in Carlsbad. Chili's son, Mike, took over management of the Carlsbad office in 1978. Mike's brother, Cliff, took over management of the Artesia office in 1992.
