The National Institute of Flamenco is a member-supported non-profit arts organization based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Since 1982, it has been dedicated to promoting and preserving the art of flamenco through performance, education, and community advocacy.
Under the leadership of Eva Encinias, the Founding Director, the Institute has established itself as the epicenter of flamenco in the United States. Through its Conservatory of Flamenco Arts, Festival Flamenco Albuquerque, and various residencies, the Institute offers a comprehensive and accessible curriculum for students of all ages and levels, while also providing stable employment opportunities for artists and arts administrators.
