Job Corps Center
Located in Roswell, N.M., the Roswell Job Corps Center offers training in seven different vocations, including automotive, culinary arts, electrical wiring, facilities maintenance, health occupations, painting and protective services. Its facilities maintenance department teaches students in plumbing, carpentry, floor covering and heating, cooling, and ventilation system. The center s facilities maintenance graduates work in various fields, such as hotels, schools, hospitals, apartment maintenance, home remodeling and private business operators. The Roswell Job Corps Center is a part of Job Corps, which is one of the largest and most comprehensive residential education and vocational training programs for at-risk youths between the ages of 16 and 24 in the United States.
