The Hispanic Genealogical Research Center of New Mexico (HGRC) is a non-profit society dedicated to encouraging and nurturing the interests of its members in the pursuit of their Hispanic ancestors and history. They provide a common ground for members to share their genealogical knowledge and research, instruct others in Hispanic genealogical research methods, and promote the utilization of genealogical collections and records to ensure accurate and well-documented research.
The HGRC also maintains the Great New Mexico Pedigree Database (GNMPD), a comprehensive genealogy database of the Hispanic ancestors of New Mexico and their descendants. In addition to their research efforts, the HGRC publishes a monthly newsletter and a quarterly journal, and offers a variety of genealogical and historical research reference materials to its members and the public.
