Duke City Repertory Theatre exists to serve the audience by creating low-cost, high-value, professional theatre to inspire, empower, and enrich the community. Our vision is to establish a cultural institution that attracts people and businesses from around the nation by: - Producing professional, ensemble-based theatre performances of the highest and most cost-conscious value for the people and visitors of Albuquerque. - Engaging the community in artistic dialogues through post-show discussions, forums, classes, and artist events. - Developing artist careers through formalized training and professional work experience, while creating jobs that support an artist's ability to live. - Engaging young people in their educations through theatrical works and empowering them through artistic teachings. - Supporting the community as a whole through collaborations with community members, local artists and artistic company's, and non-profit organizations. - Promoting the beauty of New Mexico and its vibrant culture to both citizens and visitors alike.
