Johnsons of Madrid Galleries
Galleries of Fine and Fiber Arts This is the oldest, and largest gallery on the Turquoise Trail. We now represent over 100 fine artists and 50 fiber artists. The gallery was started by Mel and Diana Johnson, who met as students at the Art Institute of Chicago. Mel later taught figure drawing there, and architectural drawing at Texas Tech University. Diana has had her one of a kind dresses carried at high end department stores around the country. Today, the gallery is run by four generations of the Johnsons family.
