Dean Baldwin Painting is a woman-owned business that specializes in aircraft paint stripping and coating services. Its services include chemical paint removal, removal by scuff sand and full-service painting and coating on commercial, corporate and military aircraft in a wide range of sizes and types. The company was the primary paint provider for 35 years at Miami International Airport until it closed its original facility in 2003. In 1999, it expanded its operations to a 170,000-square-foot facility in Roswell, N.M., which includes five temperature controlled aircraft bays. The Roswell plant has contracts with Southwest Airlines, SkyWest, Mesa Airlines and Hill Air Force Base in Utah. The company also maintains a facility in San Antonio, and its headquarters is in Bulverde, Texas.
