We have been representing work by Southwest Indian artists since 1949, when Tom Bahti first started the business. Since 1972 it has been run by his son Mark and his wife, Emmi Whitehorse. With locations in both Santa Fe and Tucson we handle some vintage material but our primary focus in on contemporary artists who create jewelry, fetish carvings, Navajo textiles, Hopi katsinas, pottery, paintings, baskets. Between father and son, there are some dozen book titles on various aspects of Southwest Indian art, history and culture. We also offer repair work, appraisal services, lectures and lead tours for various museums.
