History
Since movie goers first began filling its seats in August of 1928, Westwood's Pascack Theater has been a destination for film lovers and people looking for a couple hours escape in the flickering light of a projector. The Center Avenue theater opened in 1928 on the site of a privately owned former farm with a vegetable stand, meat market, and livery stable. Now boasting six-screens, the Center Avenue theater was once a majestic movie house that could seat 2,000 patrons eager to see their favorite stars on the big screen.
