Established in 1990, WDVR is a noncommercial radio station that is operated by a work force of over 50 volunteers. The station is licensed to Penn-Jersey Educational Radio, which is New Jersey-based nonprofit corporation. It airs a variety of noncommercial educational radio programs for residents in western New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. The station broadcasts various music and talk shows. WDVR is a full-service FM station that operates on a 24-hour basis at 89.7 megahertz. It also utilizes a translator on 91.9 megahertz to serve the residents of Lawrenceville, Princeton and Trenton in New Jersey. WDVR airs a range of music from several genres, including classic country, bluegrass, Big Band, Celtic, Polka, and light rock and jazz.
