The Wayne Public Library is a hub of community activity.
Besides its extensive collection of books, magazines, CDs, DVDs and audio books, the library offers art exhibits, book discussions, story hours, movies, classes and lectures. The library also offers meeting rooms to the public and free Internet access.
The library has a collection of nearly 2,000 volumes of local history plus a sizable collection of genealogical information.
The Friends of the Library organization is a volunteer group that helps the library with fundraising and other projects.
