The New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) provides employment services for individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve employment outcomes consistent with their strengths, priorities, needs, abilities and capabilities. The division also conducts in-service training programs designed to upgrade skills, increase knowledge and maximize the performance of personnel. It administers several community rehabilitation programs that include facility-based services to determine if an individual can participate in work force, as well as diagnostic evaluation utilizing a variety of computer-assisted tools. It is a part of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development. The Department of Labor and Workforce Development governed by the State of New Jersey.
