Vineland Board of Education is an administrative office of the Vineland Public School District. The district is located in Vineland, N.J., and comprises various schools, such as East Vineland School, Alternative High School, Winslow School and Vineland Adult Education Center. The board of education members are chosen for a term of three-years and administer and govern the schools of the Vineland Public School District. It holds meetings and special sessions for fixing budget, and evaluation of expenditure and revenue estimates for the administration and renovation of district schools facilities. Additionally, it lays down curriculum standards for the district schools and prepares annual financial reports. It also organizes annual school elections, and governs the leave and salary rules for teachers and support staff of the district schools. Vineland Board of Education also helps in procurement of funds and financial assistance from state and federal grants for students suffering from various diseases.
