Father English Community Center is a social service agency of the Diocese of Paterson. It offers services according to the principles of the Catholic Church and the Gospel of Christ. The center offers various community service programs, such as youth haven, teen center, senior and handicapped transportation, food pantry and boutique, computer training, and case management and work assistance. It also provides peer-to-peer English classes to the large multicultural, multilingual population of Passaic County in New Jersey. Its teen center is an emergency shelter and group home for runaway, homeless and abused young men between 11 and 17 years of age. The program provides a wide range of services, including residential care, counseling, case management, life skills education, recreation, transportation, crisis intervention, hotline counseling, advocacy and referrals. Located in Paterson, N.J., the center also organizes various child care programs that include Mundo del Nino, Mundo de Colores, after school and summer camp, and child care food program.
