Stephen E. Crane, MD, FACOG, specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery to treat fibroid and ovarian tumors, and perform hysterectomies. He also specializes in operative hysteroscopy to treat abnormal bleeding and fertility problems.In addition to an attending physician, Dr. Crane is also the Chairman of Summit Healths Obstetrics & Gynecology Department. He is an attending physician at Saint Barnabas Medical Center where he is a past President of the Saint Barnabas Medical staff. He is former Chairman of the Saint Barnabas Perinatal Review Committee, having served in that role for 20 years. Dr. Crane is former Clinical Chief of the Saint Barnabas Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been a member of the Saint Barnabas Medical Center Medical Executive Committee since 1995. He also serves on the Saint Barnabas Operating Room Safety Committee.Dr. Crane is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the New Jersey Medical Society.
