South Mountain YMCA Civic House, 112 Glenview Rd, South Orange, NJ 07079, US

Headquartered in the Civic House on Dunnell Road, the After School Program of Maplewood South Orange is a private and non-profit program offered in all the elementary schools and middle schools in the two towns. Activities for the After School Academy of the Arts (AAA), the recreational and enrichment program designed specifically for middle school students, also takes place at the center on Dunnell Road. The AAA is a coalition between the two towns and their departments of Recreation and Cultural Affairs as well as South Mountain YMCA, the Board of Education, and community advisors. Among the activities (both indoor and outdoor) are computers, sports, dance, yoga, double dutch, magazine publishing, arts, crafts, music (e.g., drumming), cartooning, sewing, and cooking. Financial aid for enrollment is also available.
