In 2013, Dr. Bamboat was awarded with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Young Investigator Award for research on esophageal and stomach cancer.Dr. Bamboat is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology, and the American Association of Cancer Research and Oncology Society of New Jersey. He was recently elected to the board of advisors for the American Cancer Society, Northwest New Jersey Chapter."I believe in getting to know each patient and their particular cancer and educating them about their illness and discussing the pros and cons of various treatment options," says Dr. Bamboat.
