St. Mary's Parish incorporates two Roman Catholic churches: St. Mary's Barnegat and St. Mary's of the Pines, in neighboring Manahawkin.
Rectory hours in Barnegat are 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday and 10am to 4pm Saturday. Masses are held at 5:30pm Saturday and 8am on Sunday.
An adoration chapel behind the church is occupied by volunteers 24 hours a day. There is also a gift shop; proceeds benefit the church's charity efforts.
