History
The Jordan family began Rambling Pines Day Camp way back in 1976. Dr. Sydney Jordan and his wife, Roslyn, had been searching for a new site for a camp and a school, but couldn't seem to find exactly what they were looking for. (Dr. and Mrs. Jordan had run Jordan Day School since 1972, and Dr. Jordan was a professor of special education at Trenton State College.) They knew they had found the perfect spot when they set eyes on 15 acres with a house, a pond and a babbling brook nestled in the Sourland Mountains. With their sons Edward (age 14) and Robert (age 13) they quickly set to work transforming the new site into Rambling Pines - developing and expanding the facility and creating the program you see today.
