Preakness Reformed Church is the oldest church in Wayne. It has been at this location since 1798, and its cemetery is the final resting place for several of Wayne's founding families.
Today, Preakness Reformed Church members do community outreach both locally and regionally, participating in Habitat for Humanity, the Interfaith Hospitality Network and RISE (Risingville Intercommunity Service Effort). Programs for members include Christian education for children and adults, as well as music and age-appropriate fellowship groups.
