Founded in 1893 and located in Morristown, N.J., The Peck School is an independent coeducational day school with an enrolment of more than 300 students in grades kindergarten through eight. The school s curriculum includes classes in reading, creative and expository writing, mathematics, social studies, sciences and foreign languages. It offers a variety of programs for students, including art, painting, drawing, sculpture, vocal music, woodwork, class plays and forensics programs. The Peck School provides information technology classes to students in classrooms and computer laboratories. Its courses focus on developing students strategic thinking skills and application of classroom learning. The school s physical education and athletic department organizes several sporting events, including soccer, field hockey and cross country.
