Our Purpose: NPRS provides volunteer emergency services to the Boro of North Plainfield and the surrounding communities free of charge to all patients.Our Future: To continue our proud tradition of volunteering, we need the help of the community. We are in constant need of members and continuous contributions. As an all volunteer organization, we do not receive "payment" or compensation for any services. The generous donations from the community go towards paying our utility bills, maintaining our ambulances, purchasing supplies and other needs crucial for operating.Our Squad: Our squad is comprised of 30 men and women of a variety of ages who volunteer their time to safeguard the community by responding to your calls for help. Our members go through vigorous training at state certified schools to learn life saving skills and techniques. We are 100% dependent on the donations from the community. Our Operation: NPRS responds to all emergency calls within the Boro of North Plainfield and follows the long standing tradition of mutual aid to the surrounding communities weekdays between 6pm & 6am and 24hrs on the weekends. We are dispatched by Somerset County Communications, which is responsible for dispatching fire and EMS throughout Somerset County.
