Pocono Country Carriages, Inc is nestled in the picturesque hills and woods of Northeastern Pennsylvania in the area called the Poconos. We have thirty years of experience with horses and provide all of our animals a pleasant, safe and healthy environment. Our horses are well groomed and cared for by nurturing human beings. Pocono Country Carriages, Inc also offers beginner riding Lessons, including English, Western, and Driving. Occasionally we have a few good horses and Equipment for Sale, such as carriages and tack. The owner of Pocono Country Carriages volunteers her time as a 4H leader, using the Pocono Country Carriage premises and resources for weekly meetings and special activities. We are also active members of the Pocono Animal Rescue ( PAR ) organization. PAR is a local organization whose mission it is to work on behalf of large domestic animals, particularly horses. We offer a wide variety of services, including Boarding for Horses. We Board Horses in a secluded, private facility with one on one personal care. During the winter season, join us for a horse-drawn Sleigh Ride. In the summer of 2002 our first Summer Riding Camp was truly a super success! Two riding instructors conducted riding lessons with four children in each group. We also provided crafts and conducted educational equine activities. At the end of each week we held a mini horse show where the children demonstrated their ability to maneuver in and out of obstacles. Each participant received a memento ribbon commemorating their achievements.
