New Horizons in Autism was founded almost 30 years ago by parents of children who had been diagnosed with autism; since then, it has expanded its locations and services, and has strived to increase public awareness about autism. Under its current name since 1993, New Horizons has programs available for almost all age ranges. Its "Respite Programs" offer in-home management services beginning in childhood; vocational programs help those over the age of 21 to learn trade skills for future employment. Family support programs are also in place for parents. Contact the organization to find out more about eligibility and specific services.
