Neil K. Goyal, MD, MPH, specializes in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular diseases.Dr. Goyal has practiced with New Jersey Physicians since 2007. In addition to his position with New Jersey Physicians at Summit Health, Dr. Goyal is an instructor in clinical medicine for the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons Division of Cardiology.Dr. Goyal says, "I was inspired to become a practitioner because it allows me to have a positive effect on the lives of my patients." He adds, "My goal is to provide the best possible care to each of my patients."Dr. Goyal's research interests include minimally invasive valve therapies, novel medical devices, and novel drug therapies for patients with heart disease. He is the coauthor of book chapters on these and related topics. His articles and abstracts are published in prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals, including American Journal of Cardiology, New England Journal of Medicine, and Journal of the American College of Cardiology.Dr. Goyal has had special interests in community service and the ethics of medicine. He has been a community service chairman and he has volunteered for community service organizations and inner city clinics.When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Goyal enjoys spending time with his family and watching sports.
