HistoryIn the 1980s, Donald Metzger opened the original Liberty Kenworth location outside of Philadelphia. Within 10 years, it became necessary to open a second location and Coopersburg Kenworth was born. Coopersburg Kenworth is located on 25 acres just south of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, and is easily accessible from Interstate 78 and the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 476). Coopersburg Kenworth houses new and used truck sales, new and used parts sales, new and used trailers, a full service department and a body shop. In 2008, the original Liberty Kenworth dealership was moved to a brand new location in Swedesboro, New Jersey. The new dealership, Liberty Kenworth of South Jersey, houses new and used truck and trailer sales, a fully stocked parts department and a state-of-the-art service department with a quick lube bay. This 15 acre facility sits on Route 322 and is within 2 miles of I-295 and the New Jersey Turnpike, and is within 5 miles of I-95.SpecialtiesCoopersburg Kenworth and Liberty Kenworth each carry one of the largest inventories of new and used trucks and trailers in the country.
