In 1950, Jerry Mecca started his Jersey City based trucking operation with one truck, a commitment to customer satisfaction and a desire to achieve the American Dream. Situated today at the foot of the Holland Tunnel, Mecca Trucking continues to deliver freight throughout the country while maintaining a reputation as one of America's oldest and most trusted names in the industry. Although Jerry is no longer with us, the teachings of hard work and dedication continue to live on. In 2010, Joseph Careccio founded Metropro Limo on the same ideals his grandfather envisioned when he began his business over 65 years ago. A different era, a different kind of freight but the same core values; honesty, trust and the personal touch only made available through lessons tried and tested.
