It takes a lot of work to keep Maplewood functioning smoothly and looking pretty. The heroes of that effort are the people in the Public Works Department. They maintain the town's recycling, shade trees and parks from their headquarters on Boyden Avenue. They store their equipment for leaf collection, snow removal and other services there. The Public Works Department on Boyden Avenue is also the site of the Maplewood Recycling Center where residents can drop off recycling every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
