Julius A. Mingroni, D.O., has been practicing as a board-certified family physician in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey for over 30 years. His goal is to provide primary care to all members of the community, from pediatrics to geriatrics. It gives him great pride to treat all the facets of healthcare covered in the practice of family medicine. He has more recently become loyal to treating the geriatric patient population, as he's approaching that period in his own life. Dr. Mingroni began his career by owning and operating a pharmacy in South Philadelphia after graduating from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1963. He continued to work in pharmacy for a decade until he graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and began practicing family medicine in 1975. In addition to practicing as KHA family physician, Dr. Mingroni serves as Chief of Family Medicine at St. Agnes Medical Center and Chief of Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He has served on the Citizen's Crime Commission of the Delaware Valley for the past twenty years, and is a board member of the Christopher Columbus Charter School in Philadelphia, PA.
