Jewish Family Service has a variety of programs to help individuals and families in times of stress, crisis and change. These include family counseling, eldercare services, bereavement and caregiver support groups, vocational counseling, meals on wheels, and support for Holocaust survivors. Out-patient mental health counseling by licensed clinical social workers is available on a sliding fee scale.
Jewish Family Service was founded in 1944, and collaborates with hospitals, religious institutions, schools and other organizations to achieve its goals. Jewish Family Service has another North Jersey office in Wayne.
