History
In 1911, the JCC was established in Atlantic City, NJ as the Young Men's Hebrew Association. In 1927, it opened as the Jewish Community Center of Atlantic County on Virginia Avenue in Atlantic City. As the needs of the community shifted and grew the JCC moved to its current location in Margate in 1959; new facilities were built on the same site in 2003. With that move, a new major emphasis on arts programming was established including lectures, performances by renounced nationally performers, community theatre, arts camps and much more.
