International Longshoremen's Association is one of the largest unions of maritime workers in North America. It represents more than 65,000 longshoremen on the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts, Great Lakes, major rivers in the United States, Puerto Rico and eastern Canada. Established in 1892, International Longshoremen's Association has various affiliations, including American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations, Canadian Labour Congress, International Transport Workers' Federation, International Organization of Masters, Mates and Pilots, United Marine Division Tugboat Workers and more.
