The India Cultural Society of NJ is headquartered at the Mahatma Gandhi Center and Hindu Temple. The first Indian civic organization to be founded in New Jersey, it holds public cultural events that reach out to the general community and promote the values of humanitarianism and community service that were personified by Mohandas K. Gandhi. Religious services are held in the Temple.
Events include banquets, dance performances, religious festivals, and classes in Indian language, dance and music. The site may also be rented for events. Membership is available to help support the Society and to receive discounts on activities and hall rental.
