Hillside Elementary School was built in 1954. Since then, the school has undergone many renovations, including the addition of a new library. The K-5 school currently has 421 students.
Hillside's school theme for the 2009-2010 school year is Hillside Kids have H.E.A.R.T., which stands for helpful, empathetic, accepting, responsible, working together.
