History
Hickory Driving School was established in 1980 by George Deo, where he played football and earned degrees in Education and Supervision. George taught Physical Education for 33 years, and during that time he taught Driver Education to hundreds of students. Many years later, Driver's Ed had been cancelled at most high schools, so George felt that students, and anyone wanting to learn to drive, should have the very best chance to learn the very best driving skills, and Hickory Driving School was born. Hickory Driving School was taken over by Brent Conly who is a phys ed teacher himself. Brent's pledge to keep the legacy of HDS growing and expanding is the new level of never-ending promise from one of New Jersey's most respected, certified state driving schools.
